No, not really . I'm in too good a mood just now .

Right. This time the tendency was to give too much credit to our fantastic attack and too little to our fantastic defence . As a result, only Lord Stiffupperlip came away with a maxi, and only 10 got a single bonus point for the clean sheet , against 14 who had to be content with the basic 3 points for predicting the win . Only LongLostSon and StevieR sat on the fence, and they were rewarded with equal shares of nowt .

And consequently there was once again very little change in the Prediction League table. The Top 5 took 3 each. The next 2, AndyD and DaveinGermany, closed in a smidge with a BP each. Similarly Cashman and AccyMad in 9th and 10th took BPs to close up on D3N in 8th.

Lord S's maxi did drag him above Ossy Kid into 11th , and NigeB's BP took him above AccyTom18 to 14th. Revived Red got past pointless Stevie R into 19th, and JimsLad's absence saw him drop below Dav007 and ChrisR into 28th. It's pretty tidy just now, 26 people have played 20 times or more and hold the top 26 places, 3 more have played over 10 and hold the next 3, and the only other person to have played more than 3 (Ferret Man) makes up the Top 30. I like tidy .......

So we roll on down to Newport. I've got a cousin Rupert who played outside-half for Newport, but that probably doesn't affect the price of fish in League 2. Anyway, they thought so much about him that they'd rather play without him . 12 games to go. In the last play-off season, we didn't lose any of the last 12, winning 8 and drawing 4. And we're 8 points better off now than we were then .... ooo err Missus.

On Stanley On!!

If he's my cousin and your brother, that means we're cousins too, doesn't it?
