Re: 2018/19 Prediction League; Game 40 v Fleetwood Town (home)

Monkey Hanger On A Charge

It's another of those horribly simple to describe weeks . Monkey Hangar got a maxi, Taypot and Stanley Josh got three points, and most (not me ) of the remaining faithful or hopeful got one point for expecting Fleetwood to score once . As a result of which …..

MH leapt into the Top Ten with a single bound , moving from 11th to 5th and pushing MikeA out. Taypot continued his inexorable rise up the charts and is now 13th (from 16th). And late-starting SJ closed up a bit on the laggards at the foot of the table. The top 4 all got a point, so no change there except that there is now one less opportunity for the challengers to deflate Lord Stiffupperlip's 15 point cushion.

David1 entered the fray for the first time this season, and by being amongst the pointful joins the table as 39th out of 40, Norwich Stanley clinging on grimly to the wooden spoon with no points from his single go. The worst placed theoretically possible winner is now Revived Red, 40 points behind Lord S in 19th place.

So roll on the Black Moggies on Wednesday, hopefully a nice easy game for us to begin our recovery to mid-table obscurity. Why not? On Stanley On!
