Watchdog Rises To The Top With Three Games To Go

I have to say after 2 goals in 10 minutes I thought we might well see 6 by the end, but I wasn't expecting them to be shared ...... Seven of you did clamber onto the fence for this one, but no-one chose the right bit, so 3 points for you, and a single BP for another 4 who thought there might be 3 at one end or the other .

4 of the fence-sitting 7 come from Tuesday's Top Ten, and 2 from the Top Three. Those 2 are Watchdog and Outback Ozzy, who now have 80 points as against one-point StanleyJosh's 79, and Watchdog is top of the heap on countback - and with an amazing 9 maxis to Ozzy's 2 is not going to come second on countback to anyone , the next best maxi score being a mere 5.

AccyTom18's 3 points are enough to take him past Cashman into 4th, 3 points behind our leader, and Kiwi John continues his late surge by sliding by Valairian into 6th. And although StanleyHouse wasn't in the Top Ten on Tuesday, he is now, up from 13th to 9th and evicting Div3North from the elite once more.

The last 3-pointers are Tommy McQueen, gaining a place from 16th to 15th , and AccyMad, not gaining a place in 23rd . The only significant gains for 1-pointers see NigeB moving from 20th to 17th, and Revived Red passing the Lanterne Rouge to StevieR at the back of the pack.

So roll on Pompey and Charlton and Pompey. Today we condemned Sunderland to the playoffs - our last 3 games seem quite likely to decide who they play, and who plays us next season without gracing the playoffs first. Exciting, isn't it?

On Stanley On!!

And now only the top 13 can possibly win the Season Ticket (if a lot of the top of the table players get nul points several times)

And it won’t be me

If the league was suspended now. I think Mab would win on points per game

Depending on “minimum entry” criteria, rosey is on 3 ppg with 3 entries

Seeing as you asked, points per game table:

1. Rosey - P3, W1, D1, L1, BP 1, Pts 9, PPG 3.00 (pos'n in table - 29th )
2. AccyTom18 - P38, W3, D14, L21, BP20, Pts 77, PPG 2.03, (4th)
3. Mab - P35, W5, D10, L20, BP12, Pts 67, PPG 1.91 (10th)

(But for the avoidance of any doubt , we obviously wouldn't do it that way, the table would stand as is )
