Tight at the Top as Josh Loses His Faith
Yes, our leader StanleyJosh was one of only two of you to scramble pessimistically over the wall and expect the opposition to take this one
, Monkey Hangar being the other. 6 scrambled on top of the wall and stayed there indecisively
. And none of those 8 got any points at all
.
Which means everybody else who got their act together and a prediction in got at least 3 points
, mostly 4
, with AndyD rejoicing in solitary splendour with the only maxi of the night
. Having started the season with rather less success, this only hauled Andy up to 20th from 23rd
, but this could be the start of good things to come - maybe
.
At the top, Josh's lead is down to a single point from Outback Ozzy and StanleyHouse, Ozzy holding second spot on countback, with Ossy Kid one behind these two, and Tom D one further back. Three fallers this week were Cashman, down from 5th to 9=, Choirboy, 6= to 12=, and Watchdog, 9th to 16th. Div3North (13th to 8th) and Accymad (14th to 9=) moved up into the vacated places amongst the elite. Tom D and Mab each moved up a couple of places, to 5th and 6th respectively.
So, two away wins on the bounce and two home games to come. It's roll on the Imps come Saturday, and isn't it nice to be looking optimistically up the table
instead of nervously over our shoulders? Or am I
saying too much too soon?
On Stanley On!!
