Loyalty (One-eyed Optimism?) Gets Its Reward At Last

Yes, it's much more enjoyable after we win, and especially if I've got a maxi too
......
Moving swiftly on, this was one of those rare weeks when less than half of us (only 12 out of 27) forecast a Stanley win, but I can understand why. In particular, pragmatism abounded at the top of the table
where the previous top 4 all took the pessimistic view that on this occasion produced very little
. But Cashman kept the faith, and his maxi
took him from 5th back onto the podium in 3rd. The other two maxis went to those more in need, Kiwi John continuing last week's climb to move from 23rd to 15th, and yours truly
shaking off the dust of the basement in scrambling from 25th to 19th.
Of the other loyalists, only Mike A added a bonus point
through having faith in Toby, which was enough to lift him from 6th to 4th. The other 8 took the basic 3 points
and made gains (mostly) as follows: StanleyJosh, 11th to 9th; Choirboy, 15= to 12th; Div3North, 19th to 14th; Mab, 21st to 20th; Leylandii and Watchdog (no movement, still 22nd and 24th); DaveinGermany, 26th to 25th; and StanleyHouse (still 28th, but closer to 27th).
Single bonus points
or not
determined how the rest of you moved in relation to one another. Stevie R's eviction from the top table was down to being in the "not" column
while Ange B was not
, if you see what I mean
.
So now it's roll on the Cod Squad, swiftly followed by the Wombles. Have to say these look like the most promising of the games between now and Christmas ..... six points would be most welcome .....
On Stanley On!!
