Weren't we all mate .... well all but seven of us anyway
. And quite unusually, nobody other than the faithless seven
got anything at all out of Tuesday night's debacle, not a single bonus point gained by anyone to alleviate the gloom
.
Five of the said seven are now in the top eight of the prediction league table, and until Stanley's form turns, those of us who are apparently psychologically unable to predict anything other than a Stanley win
are unlikely to be able to do anything about it
.
Three points
were enough to take Shurm and Taypot well clear on top, Shurm now on 45 and Taypot on 42, with Nige B still 3rd but becalmed on 38. The same 3 points lifted Valairian from 6th to 4th, just a point off the podium, and took Ossy Kid from 9th to 7th. Four points
brought LongLostSon onto the top table, moving up from 13th to 8th, and, lower down the table, gave Lord S a big boost (22nd to 14th) and hoicked Kiwi John out of the basement (from 27th of 29 to 23rd).
Hum. Roll on Lincoln, he said with eager anticipation
. Not enjoying doing these write-ups at the moment, it has to be said. Can you tell?
On Stanley On!!
