Shurm Regains Form as Stanley Lose Theirs

Quite a lot of you expected good things to come to an end on Saturday, with 9 of you correctly forecasting the unbeaten run ending. 5 of the 9 went maxi , most importantly Shurm, finding his way back to the podium with a jump from 4th to 2nd, MikeA only hanging on to the top spot on countback having picked up a single bonus point.

Other maxis went to Stevie R (6th to 5th), Monkey Hanger (9th to 7th), Lord Stiffy (15th to 11th) and Pifco (nowhere to 29th, and top of the percentage league, with his first game of the season). Four points were garnered by Taypot (10th to 8th) and Valairian (12th to 9th), and three by StanleyJosh (21st to 16th) and Ossy Kid (24= to 23rd).

Points were hard to come by for the more optimistic , with the popular 2-0 and 2-1 Stanley win guesses producing nothing at all. But most of the rest of the Top Ten were among those who did pick up a point , although for Ange B this was not enough to save her from eviction from the elite .

So, it's roll on Morecambe on Saturday. We're now on four games without a win, which is a sequence we would like to break, methinks, and a good opportunity to do it. So let's go pot a few Shrimps .....
