Both ends of the table now sorting themselves out …… Grimsby’s 2-1 win at Colchester - who have lost their last two after going unbeaten in 11 - puts a four point gap between them in 7th and 8th place …… Walsall, who looked to have lost their way big time, are still top, but only by one point from Bradford, who beat us 1-0 at their place in early February
At the bottom, the nine point gap between Tranmere (40 pts) in 22nd, Carlisle (31 points) and Morecambe (30 pts) now looks like the Grand Canyon
And JC bit the dust at Gillingham earlier in the week - 2 wins in 14 does that for you - to be replaced by Gareth Ainsworth, once of Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury, you’ll have seen, are 14 points from League One safety with 9 to play, so that puts them firmly in the fertiliser
Looking forward to see how many folk think we’ll get anything from the 12.30 Bradford game, but it’ll only be a few misguided diehards, I suspect. Entries welcome, as the perennial pessimists close in on the PL title
Predictions welcome, while I try to get a grasp of the Easter fixtures
