And the one-appearance Wonder was Sol Campbell, in 2009, citing false promises (and Kaspar Schmeichel apparently travelled to away matches – he played 43 times in all - by private jet) ………… and the Famous 1932 player Jimmy Oakes, was the only reported case of a player playing for both sides in the same League Fixture ……….. on BoxingDay he played for PV against the Addicks, but the game was abandoned due to fog. By the time of the replayed game, he’d signed – and played – for Charlton. Sadly for PV – who’d been 4-1 up when fog struck - they lost the replayed game 2-1!
