Re: £250,000

I heard nowt but would imagine the figure is probably about right. Plus add-ons of course. 20% seems to be Erics favourite number.

Re: £250,000

do you think Coley will go back for Aron McClean from Grays again, during the next transfer window? Eric must allow him some of the monies to spend.I do'nt think we played too badly last night apart from Crany who never got in the game. I just hope that we can hold our heads above water until January

250k....they wouldnt have got that for a " loan fee "...which is all it can be at the moment ...unless stanley are pulling the wool over your eyes and have already accepted an offer from ipshi7, and have no intentions of recalling him in jan

Re: £250,000

Of course he's gone.He won't be back .It'll be a 'done deal',and this loan talk is a way around the transfer window. As for Ipswich having no money, well the banks have an interest to keep the club 'flowing',and realise that its in the interest of the bank(s) to finance the club for player investment otherwise it (Ipswich) becomes a stagnent pond. They will be hoping to develope Gary further then flog him off at a tidy profit. From what I've read about Eric on here over the months,he will have Accys interest well served. One step back, two forward.

Re: £250,000

I look at it this way if Peterborough make a bid of £1million for an MK Dons player then £250,000 is not enough for Roberts.

(Sorry lost the link to the story)
