2nd season in the Conference
Is it at all possible, that teams in the Conference with the exception of the promoted and relegated teams, got used to the way Stanley play at home and away?
Perhaps it is time for a change! Linking in to other threads re Lutel, Paul Mullin etc etc.
Surely now is the time for new faces up front and bringing back the likes of Howson in defence as well as trying to get Bimpson back from cambridge etc etc. Perhaps we are all being over optimistic after the excellent start to the season! Perhaps even, this may just be our seasonal blip, and as with other teams around us - Barnet and carlisle excepted - they too are having a blip. After all - we are only 3 points and a few goals off 3rd in the table. Perhaps also, we need to find a settled team and not tinkering around week in and week out with the playing team. O.K. this means certain players will be on the bench regularly, but that is life at a professional Football club. others may only find themselves as fringe players and play the majority of games in the reserves and if players want to go, then they are not the sort of players Stanley want (Lutel James included). It does not matter how young or old players are, we want them fighting for the shirts that they wear and we, as spectators pay for week in, week out, to see them in. Lets cut the slagging off of the management - because I'm sure if Eric thought things weren't going to plan he would sack them - and let them get on with the job in hand.
KEEP THE FAITH
