Re: A Little Fairy Story

If the club took the admin route the Administrators would look to achieve the highest price possible to secure the funds needed to satisfy the creditors. Ilyas, I would expect would have all the bases covered; nullifying any benefit to the current ownership. I hope.

Can’t see why anyone, even Eric would want to go back to being non-league, there would be no money or kudos in it for anyone.

We could be a season or more away from all this being settled; both sides should at least try and work things through if only to support what the lads are doing on the pitch….Higher league football would bring in sponsors and money (possibly) but only if the club (broad) can be taken seriously by those other than Ilyas parting with their money. Both sides should take something like this as an opportunity to be open and transparent
And I am pleased to see that this thread has turned full circle and has now returned to it's original remit....viz..'a little Fairy Story '.

If the club took the admin route we would be docked at least 10 points

I know Jeff, so why would either side let it happen.

Believe me EW does not care. If he cared anything he would have been at court last year helping to save Stanley instead of sitting in the office at the Crown. He cannot afford to run a Football League club, so if it's admin and EW gets the club it will be back to non-league where, once again, he can act the big man. He has said before that he would rather see the club die than be run by Ilyas (except Ilyas wasn't the word he used)

Re: A Little Fairy Story

I never could get into fairy tales. Wasn't the character Jeff calls 'Knight in Shining Armour' once referred to as 'Fairy Godmother' in 'Cheating Clitheroe's' version of the story? It's all very confusing.
