well, other than Thomas Wong Doo (1903-1963) I'm struggling to find any notable Kiwi academics, and I suspect that might be as much to do with his ancestral line than geography

apparently his parents met purely by chance when his father attended a different party to the one he should have done

Are you suggesting Wong Doo's parents may have been Wong Dooers ?

It is unfortunate with no doubt a number of people getting a new shirt for Christmas and it being out of date from then.

Stanley are not a wealthy club and need to take advantage of any deal.

Maybe a £5 discount for those buying recently (How you would prove this I don't know).

May actually result in more income overall with increased sales.

I was tempted to buy myself the Samurai Sports home shirt the other week,i'll consider this a very near miss in nearly losing 40 quid of hard earned money! Maybe the club could reimburse the ones who've bought the Samurai Sports shirts in the last few weeks? I don't think even the money grabbing "big" clubs would sell their shirts one day then tell the ones who've bought them that they're out of date the next day.

What strip will we be in today against Fleetwood? The Samurai yellow and blue will be obsolete,we can't play in red against Fleetwood's red so i presume we have a new away kit?

It will be the Blue and yellow Store First Kit, it's not obsolete.

And very nice the new white shirt looked too ........ trouble was I think some of our lads were confused by the change & thought we were in our home strip which I presume is why they frequently passed the ball straight to an opposing player

Re: A new kit, good job I hadn't ordered the current one.

Does anyone know if there will be a new home shirt for the 14/15 season or will they just use the Mitre one that came out at the end of 2013?

The home shirt will be the same next season, as will the new white shirt 3rd kit.

Macca,

Please don't be doubtfull!! That's mine and Lancs Dave's job!!

We're already got on order from our supplier enough shirts to last this season.

The "only" challenge may be if we get a nice cup draw, but what a good problem to have!!
