Re: A personal request

Personally I'd rather eat a horse burger on an open terrace in pouring down rain before I eat a Hollands meat pie

You know your stuff KSH, my opinion and I might have a bit of inside info is that Hollands pies where good (OK) when it was owned by Hollands but since it was taken over by Northern Foods the stuff they make is *****, profit is king as they say.

Re: A personal request

Well they must sell all the good ones out of town and leave the bad ones for the locals!
Like someone said, they used to be OK but there not now and haven't been for quite a few year

i too reckon they've gone downhill - but mainly since that guy who worked on the meat chopping bit got done for chopping up his mother in law! (never found)

but I hasten to add (before the lawyers come knocking) that this joke is in poor taste (no pun intended) and that the police forensics ruled out anything having happened at that site

Who says they make all the pies locally? Also who says they will be local employers for much longer? Do Polish employees count as local employees?
