A question for you all ....

A friend of mine was talking about accrington stanley today .. he's only a young lad .. and he was asking me if it was worth it to donate to accrington stanley with everything that was going on.

So is it worth it for him to donate ...

And dont get angry .. im just asking a question what he wanted me to ask.

Re: A question for you all ....

Im only asking the question he wanted to know the answer to. The lad in question is 16, doesnt work, has an ema allowance .. and thats to pay for bus fares, dinners, etc at college. He actually asked me what will happen to the money if it isnt all raised in time plus what will happen to accy stanley ...

I have sponsored two people and will honour my pledges but do feel that p[eople who are donating are being used by the directors. People would feel so much better about donating if they could have positive news from the club (but I'm not holding my breath for that to happen)

That choice has to be his is my advice. We are honouring all donations and sales to the fund but after the 17th once 3 mugs have sold, sos shirts have done and raffle ending on the 10th then i have done our part, a small but have as a small new business has helped quite a lot and doubt if we were in trouble there would be a print sos for us. Thing with the club is they have to realise things go TWO WAYS like transparency with this situ whilst collecting hard earned fund money from the towns people and supporters.

Re: A question for you all ....

A lot of people though will be asking that same question .. especially after what has happened this weekend and today ..

So really just asking the question what a lot of people would like an answer to.

We are taking to the streets saturday... I will save all negative comments for your info.... Maybe the collectors will need tin hats?

.
all depends , if all the money collected by the fans/supporters is used to pay off/reduce the tax debt it means the assets of the club are worth that much more , come sell-off time the owners/shareholders get that much a bigger slice of the pie , though not sure what the fans /supporters get .
Seems to me its only fair that the "owners" turn over an equitalbe amount of shares in the club equal to the amount raised to the 'official' supporters club who raised that amount .
