With you on this one smudge, hard worker, but will be judged on his goal return.I would personally play him off the front man with Shepard up top

Re: Accrington Stanley Squad
just looked at Southend website - have signed keeper from Bury on loan, so obviously Tony Warner hasn't found himself a deal there. Also haven't picked up anything about Bryan Hughes - anybody got a clue ?

Re: Accrington Stanley Squad
on the grounds that we've got a hundred and six midfielders already signed on and the guy readily pimped himself out to anybody else who would him a few silver pieces (seems no-one has)

Re: Accrington Stanley Squad
He is signing for Rotherham aparently.
Dont agree at all Rob, he was by far our best player last season and was the sole reason for our playoff push over xmas and into the new year.
Yes he was unlucky when he popped his hamstring, but you speak to the players and ask them how good he was.
Would have him back tomorrow.

Cooky has said he is looking to loan a few players out (Carver, Dixon etc) so would trim the squad slightly.
I'd have him back tomorrow if we could get him on a contract that doesnt break the bank!

Big call that smudgie.
He gave the team something they lacked in the final third -- real quality, which you would expect from a former prem league player.
IMHO,defensively is wasnt the best, and considering two thirds of games you are contesting for possession or dont have the ball i am unsure.
Loved watching him play tho,so i will sit on the fence on this one

Re: Accrington Stanley Squad
I'm not saying he wasn't a good player, and I'm not saying that we have better players already here - but we do have players already here so I wouldn't pay someone who 'technically' we don't need.
He was offered something and given a timescale to work to, he held out for better offers and we moved on and acquired other players.
Great player at our level but a club with our budget CANNOT afford the luxury of players whose hearts aren't in it and whose battery powered mobility scooters might give out any moment

Carver gone to Marine on loan fer initial month, it says on fishy, should just be the sort of thing the lad needs at this stage, wish him luck.
