Re: Accrington Stanley Squad
I'm a bit confused by what football19 has said on the matter. On 25 May, he wrote:

Yet five days earlier, he had said:

I'm presuming that 'UFC' is indeed Stanleydale. How would he know there was more money in it if he hadn't been approached?

Re: Accrington Stanley Squad
I get the same 'unavailable' message.
However, we have now signed Bohan Dixon. Played a few games for Hednesford Town and Burscough last season, so Cookie clearly sees something in the lad that no-one else has so far

Re: Accrington Stanley Squad
Height in midfield - just what we have been missing since the Doctor's departure. Welcome to the club, Bohan.

Re: Accrington Stanley Squad
Echo your sentiments Shaker, looks a useful addition and hopefully he can learn and become a star midfielder for us. 6ft 4in is big though, lets hope they sign a central defender to match.

Re: Accrington Stanley Squad
Strange one and a bit of a risk but obviously PC has seen something in the lad and hopefully it bears fruit.
Good Luck Bohan I think stories like this are brilliant as well as truly inspirational and he may just prove to be another gem for Stanley.

Re: Accrington Stanley Squad
A photo: Pitmen Win Race for Dixon | Pitchero Non League
And a couple of positive quotes from around the web:
'New Hednesford signing Bohan Dixon was introduced into the fray along with Phil Clarke on sixty-two minutes and the substitutions changed the game as The Pitmen began running the channels and seriously challenged a tired looking (Stafford) Rangers defence.'
'With a little over ten minutes remaining, Bohan Dixon turned the Llandudno defence and fired a vicious half-volley across the helpless 'keeper from the right corner of the penalty area - Fernando Torres would have been proud of that one!'
