£200? You've lost me completely, Nothing on that page comes over a Tenner, let alone £200.

Re: accringtonstanleyofficialsupportersclub

yes it is. kinda

it is an ebay account set up by me in order to sell Official Supporters Club Products. In order to set a Buy It Now price you must have a feedback of at least +10 so I purchased some products that I would have normally have got on my own account, that in turn enabled us to receive feedback that now allows us to set Buy It Now prices rather than auction prices.

The programme was bought through this account as were several other items of Stanley Memorabilia. Most items have been paid for by me or paid to me through my personal bank account and I then reimburse or get reimbursed at the following OSC meeting. The money for the programme will be coming out of the budget for the Exhibition and after the exhibition it will remain a valuable asset of the OSC for many years to come

Members who regularly attend and contribute to meetings/events were contacted beforehand and were in agreement that this was an investment for the exhibition and forevermore.

With all due respect, if that is the case, then can I inquire as to why you mention it now, when for the past few months the OSC has been asking for memorabilia items so that we can include them in the upcoming exhibition?

Not a dig, merely a question

Does this mean the OSC have a budget to buy items of memorabilia?

Re: accringtonstanleyofficialsupportersclub

no, it was decided that this particular couldn't be ignored as we weren't aware of any around the club. As it will become an asset of the OSC we decided that it wouldn't be a waste of money and could perhaps increase in value over the years as one went on ebay about 18 months back for £312.

We are pretty much entirely dependent on donated items of memorabilia. Anything we receive can be collected just before needed and returned shortly afterwards.

We will as a matter of course be seeking insurance for all items to ensure that we/you are covered.

If anybody has anything that may be of interest to either lend or donate then please get in contact with me via PM on here

'Memorabilia items' covers a wide range, no one has asked for anything specific or identified anything that is wanted.

I am pretty sure that Rob Heys bought one around 18 months ago. Incidentally this Crewe programme was selling for between £300-£350 before Stanley got back into the league, now it is selling for £100-£150, that is why it was on 'Buy it now' for £199. The last Stanley home programme in 1962 against Bradford City was selling for around £250 before Stanley got back into the league, now it is selling for £50-£100. The value of all Stanley's home and away programmes have de-valued now that they are no longer an ex-league club. May I suggest that if there are any specific items wanted for the exhibition a request be put out on here, you never know what people will come up with.

Re: accringtonstanleyofficialsupportersclub

firstly it wasn't on buy it now it was the starting bid of £199.

I think the fact that we have asked for ANY stanley memorabilia covers programmes aswell. It is hard to be specific about what memorabilia we would like until we have been told what is out there! There have been a couple of threads about this aswell as asking for stories of any stanley memories

Can I answer this one, as been one of the main people asking for stories & Memorabilia here.

The reason is simple because we welcome any forms of memorabilia from any time period of stanley
Stanley Villa/ASFC pre 1921 - No doubt there is any thing from that small period but if there is let us know

Accrington Stanley 1921 Ltd [1
921-1962]
Anything at all come forward with, programmes, photos, badges, cups, letters from club or by club to players or even fans/directors/sponsors/donators, scarfs, shirts, hats - whatever that had the ASFC 1921 -1962 official stamp, signed stuff, novelty items of the time, ASFC footy cards, posters, season tickets, tickets, kitch style or novelty items of the period relating to stanley, film footage, & dont forget stories from the time too that again is non specific but any big matches attended, 1st home match of entering league 1st time, last match before the doors closed in '62, etc etc

Accrington Stanley 1968 - present
, easy to get hold of period of entering the league in 2006, but again same applies, programmes, pics aka kipax, season ticket stubs, tickets, sponsors lounge after dinner programe [which i have 1 already so know they exist], noveties, scarfs, shirts, signed stuff, film aka touchline tv & redash, the 1st league home match against darlo - the march back into league via ultras - stories as you tell it, etc etc

Now can you see Jeff why we cannot be actually specific, because when u break it down Stanley have done a hell of a lot!!! So basically will take whatever fans/owd-current players/staff etc offer to the exhibition, im sure everyone or most people have at least 1 of the above in lists We have enlisted steering group members also OSC committee/members to oversee various parts of the exhibition in sections BUT we all work together to help anyone who wants to help with various parts of the exhibitions & avail on Accyweb.

Please let Rob know or pm aka maccawozagod with any MEMORABILIA specifically

Please let me aka pm stanleymad with any STORIES you wish to share & tell

Please let Lesley aka pm Harwood red know of any PICTURES/PHOTOS

Please Gayle know or pm her if you wish to VOLUNTEER/or help in other ways.

Please if you are historian or locally knowledged as well as stanley historically knowledge please let or pm OGGY know as he is compiling a TIMELINE of ASFC pre 1921-present.

Any other questions or queries please ask any of us or just post it hehehe

Hope that answers a few questions

...and don't forget, StanleyMad, there's also the 1962-66 non-league at Peel Park period - an era that many forget, but nevertheless, part of Stanley's history!
