Accy Carnival

It's Accy Carnival on 18th June and the Supporters Club will be having a float in the Carnival. If you would be able to help in any way, either preparation or on the day, please reply to this post or PM me.
Thanks,

Stanleybabe

Re: Accy Carnival

on my holidays in that other county about then. Regret won't be able to help out - but if I can persuade my companions westward that day, can you tell me if the parade ends up at a destination with stalls 'n all ? - and if so are Stanley taking their 'shop' ?

Re: Accy Carnival

Alan , please get yourselves across the border on that important day !

The Carnival "Floatilla" will end up at the venue where our stand will have been in place for several hours , manned by me and Budmak - and possibly by my daughter , Liz.

The "stalls ' n ' all" will be at [pause for effect] . . . . . Peel Park ! There will be a phenomenal amount of stuff happening , so please get your collective backsides down there .

The two floats of Accrington Stanley Supporters'Cluband Acrington Stanley Ultras will have been lovingly prepared overnight by devoted Accy fans and will arrive in triumph at Peel Park !

If you're holidaying in the Yorkshire Dales , I can thoroughly recommend a diversion around the northern part of Pendle Hill - via Clitheroe - then dive South.

You cannot fail .

Accrington Carnival is absolutely unmissable !! Make sure you're there , because it will be TWO MORE YEARS before you can experience it again .

Good lad . . . got it sorted then ?

Re: Accy Carnival

Would love to assist, however, I fly out to Singapore/Australia and New Zealand on that day to promote the super reds and watch a bit of Rugby Union (Lions tour against the All Blacks). I do hope you have a wonderful day though and promote the club to its fullest extent. Good luck for the day

I can confirm that the Official Accrington Stanley Supporters' Club Stand at Peel Park for the 2005 Accrington Carnival has been booked for many months , and that it has been paid for in full.

Those responsible for other stands and floats for the event should ensure that they have registered with the Lions on the URL which Kipax has provided above , or should contact the organiser , Rob Pullinger , by e-mailing [email protected]

If in doubt about whether you're registered or not , PLEASE get in touch with Rob now.

Thank you , Kipax , for your timely reminder.

Re: Accy Carnival

I can confirm that the stall is confirmed for the Official Supporters Club. I have not recieved a field application for the ULTRAs if they were intending having a stall on the field. For more information on stalls, please contact me at [email protected]

The floats are organised by somebody else, but you can contact him at [email protected]

The website should be updated with an up-to-date list of Stalls and Floats after the next Carnival Meeting which shall be taking place this Thursday.

Also on Thursday is the Carnival Queen Competition at the Poplar Club on Wellington Street at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the Town Hall information office.

Rob Pullinger
Accrington Carnival Field Organiser.
