Re: Accy V Bury team news
Very good win, Money in the pot two wins since we were saved, things looking up, think it i going tobe hard to keep hold of a few players January/summer. Hope we can though as we have a strong team and we keep building on the strength
onwards and upwards

Re: Accy V Bury team news
Pmsl blimey a text war lol. Can beleive stanley score before i get in the ground lol. Enjoyed the match and so glad it didn't get to pens. Think the lads did very well despite a heavy schedule and discovered there is bi polar goal keeping disorder lol going from one to other extremes lol. Miles looked sore but but in a great effort and dont want to get on wrong side of kempo lol tho had a great game. So is this the furthest we have gone to so far in the jpt ? And yep main stand did a bit of singing along too

Twas a ginormous flag in Bury colours. Couldn't read what it said though cos it was facing away from us. Nice touch, well done Ultras

Re: Accy V Bury team news
Miles did not have a good night, nor did Proccy, as grimps said though symes scored from milesys corner, as were 2 goals on sat, agree with nickleson about not using subs, fer me Coleys only weakness, overall a good win tonight, Symes n Grant are proving a good combination, n even dunbavin kicked a few in the right direction tonight.

Re: Accy V Bury team news
Pretty poor game to say it hosted five goals. The ball spent most of the time in the bloody air. The ref was a donkey. Both sides looked cream crackered. I thought Kempo should've got man of the match. Winnard played well again as did Joyce. Ain't it good to win int'cup

Re: Accy V Bury team news
Would agree with Cashy and Shaker. After a great start we lost our way. One of the great attractions of this season's footy has been the passing on the ground so why oh why did they start lumping it up in the air, against two very tall defenders ? Miles didn't look fully fit and a few more looked a bit jaded. Agree with the comments about Grant and Symes. All in all they made hard work of it but got there in the end. I was dreading it going to pens

Re: Accy V Bury team news
Just got back myself, missed the first goal, but to be honest, I though John Miles did not have too good a game, but as others have said, his play from corners gets Symes the goals. Symes and Grant are on fire up front. At least we did not have to suffer penalties especially as Phil Edwards was hobbling towards the end of the match.Good banter between 2 sets of friendly supporters, just a pity there had to be a loser. Well played Bury for making a match of it. Thought the crowd was somewhat larger than the 1637 put out over the PA, looked nearer 2,000 to me, but I do not count them. Great atmosphere throughout the night and it was nice to meet Yonmon. Another Accy webber to whom I can put a face to.

The main stand didn't seem as full as it was but if it was singing who cares? Great atmosphere today. Bring on D&R!

I just noticed on Skybet that we're 16/1 to win the paint pot and Hereford are rank outsiders at 20/1.

Re: Accy V Bury team news
I presume Coleman is a beliver in playing your best 11 from start to finish in a match and subs only to replace injuries.

Re: Accy V Bury team news
When Jimmy Bell was doing an interview on 2BR towards the start of the season (I think was in the preamble to an away game), he admitted that the subsitutes that they made tended not to work very well. That had been noted on this forum in the past ... maybe they've learned from past mistakes

Fair point.
But there is no doubt Coleman and Bell have learnt so much in the past 3 years.
One shocking sub comes to mind - We brought on Wiliams as a striker/right midfielder when 2-0 down at home. I cant remember who we where playing but Coleman got rightfully slated for it post match.
