Re: AccyWeb Player of The Season

Boco has been consistent all season but without ever really putting in match winning performances.

For that reason it can only be Lee Molyneux, if we do stay up it will be largely thanks to his goals in recent weeks.

Special credit as well to Bavs. To even be in with a shout having missed more than half a season is testament to the performances he put in early doors. Almost 25% clean sheets is crazy for this club and our long serving goalkeeper.

Re: AccyWeb Player of The Season

I can see the reasoning behind Bavs, Rommy and the other nominees .....

For me, though, it's the person who MUST have inspired his team-mates, especially when the chips were down and the fat was in the fire ........... (which it will be, I suppose, if the chips are down ..........)

No disrespect to some good candidates, but my vote goes to Lee Molyneux

Close one this for me, without injury it would have been Bavs all the way. However I think im going to go with Moly as well, valuable goals, top work rate and a bit of added quality when weve needed it. Rommy was also in with a shout.

Re: AccyWeb Player of The Season

These multiple choice questions are tricky. It'd be easier if it was team of the season.
Think Wilson adds something to the team, especially when taking corners. Aldred does his job well and Murphy is a rock (and not only by deflecting balls into the net). Boco has made a lot of chances for others and made an astounding start back at Cheltenham (oh, heady days). Linganzi is a revelation (and we must offer him a deal) and would have got my vote if he'd played a few more games. But, in terms of impact, my choice is Lee Molyneux, [if nothing else for his goal at Wycombe].

Whoever wins this, I think given the position we are in. Its a credit to the lads there is a varied choice. So well done.

I agree that there a few good candidates but it will be Lee Moly for me too. For those spectacular goals in recent matches which turned our season round.

Molyneaux for me just for the simple reason that his left boot alone has given us numerous points. Without his ball striking ability who know's where we'd be. Heading for the conference maybe.

The man who saved the club from potential non-league obscurity, Moly!!!

Re: AccyWeb Player of The Season

There will always be headline makers and those who go under the radar in games but the most pleasing aspect of certainly the last few months is it been very much a team effort with everyone digging deep with some great performances with points picked up whilst some points have been ground out.

Everybody who has played and come off the Subs bench and even those that have not played have still played their part in transforming this team around, just a pity it was not early September who knows where we would have ended up?

Re: AccyWeb Player of The Season

Rommy Boco for me , gives 100% every game . Shame Ilyas Khan isn't part of the team as he has made his mark yet again this season.
