Adam Stansfield - Exeter City

Exeter striker Adam Stansfield has died of bowel cancer aged 31.

R.I.P Adam that's no age to pass away.

Re: Adam Stansfield - Exeter City

I've just read that as well on the BBC website. I would imagine he played against Stanley quite a lot. He played at the crown a few times, a good player.Sad news,as you say 31 is no age.

I echo your condolences AM...and would add that Adam Stansfield was, and will always be remembered as, a model example of a Professional Footballer, which is testament to his dedication to the game which we all love.

Frighteningly young age to die from cancer. Sometimes there is just no fairness in the world. RIP and condolences to all his family. Surely a minute silence at all League grounds would be appropriate this weekend.
