And it starts . . . .

Our home game v Port Vale on 21st September has been moved to a 12.30 kick off, courtesy of Sky Sports

Ouch...

A game I look forward to - back to back with The Alex - this season (home and away) - and it just makes it much harder to get there.....

They will not be happy until they have killed football altogether.........

Re: And it starts . . . .

Three more changes courtesy of Sky, home game v Barrow in October moved to a 12.30 kick off & our away games at Fleetwood & Carlisle now changed to 8pm & 12.30 respectively with the Fleetwood one now on a Monday 16th instead of Saturday 14th December

Talking Re: And it starts . . . .

So I make that 4 games on Sky for Stanley up to the end of December. ....Port Vale and Barrow at home in Sept and Oct and Fleetwood and Carlisle away in Dec. I thought that the opening and closing games were all televised...but as League 2 are all at 3pm on Saturday 10th August except Chesterfield v Swindon at 8pm on Friday 9th it seems I am wrong!

I suppose the changed times are inconvenient for those with work or family committments which is bad news, but at least there is more notice than Sky Sports used to give to clubs. Just need that Football Regulator ASAP...Come on Labour Government, get you're "finger-out".......

Re: And it starts . . . .

No I've rechecked and I think looking at the Sky Sports schedule we are on Sky Sports + on Saturday away at Donny......anyone else confirm that?.......Looks like we are on 11 times up to and including Grimsby on New Years Day and including Tranmere in the League Cup. Can anyone who is more familiar with Sky Sports confirm that?

Question Re: And it starts . . . .

This link confirms the Donny game

https://www.skysports.com/football-fixtures

I have not scrolled that far down, but it may confirm more

I thought that there was more information on our website, but cannot seem to find it - not the first thing to disappear...

That's a good way for the club to make some cash out of the game......

Re: And it starts . . . .

Barrow showing on the NOW TV (Sky) sports plus EFL channel as available to buy this Saturday at 12.30, if you are unable to attend....

Re: And it starts . . . .

I reckon the FA Cup game is a has a decent chance of getting on the magic lantern.

The clubs want more TV money, and that is what they got, but to do that you need more games on the TV.
