Right instructions shaker? Does a player need to be told to distribute to yer own?

To be honest shaker i think Joycey had gone off the boil before Proccy left, And as fer 4-2-3-1, Its arguable if that system cost us automatic ?to me wi players we had available last term? I sure as hell have no wish to see that system back.

it was that system which got us into the play offs!!!!
Craney, Ryan and McConville banging 'em in from Gornell's knock backs
we simply didn't have the personnel to play owt else

Disgree Rob, we didn't really have personnel to play what were playing now, but players are adapting n fer me its far better to watch.

Re: Andy Procter
i'm not sure what we're playing now having only watched the Morecambe game in recent weeks, but is it not 4-4-2 with two wingers, which Grant and Devitt are? and they do a bit of wing switching so they can cut in on their preferred shooting feet?

Re: Andy Procter
Back to the original point.................. As good as Proccy was, for me personally he is a League Two player.
Make no mistake his commitment is 100%, is fitter than anybody else on the park, but he can lack that cutting edge.
Would I have him back?? 100% yes, as I believe in our division every team needs a Proccy type player in their side. Agreed with the post about Joyce, his form has dropped dramatically since Proccy left.
Will he get the time at Preston??? Probably not, which is a shame. But football is like that sometimes.

I agree 100%. This system for me produced some outstanding attacking play without doing a Keegan and making us leaky at the back. Saw a BBC article where Coley said he was inspired by Spain at the World Cup to try and implement this at Accy.
As for Proccy...well much like Mullin a player that many are appreciating only after he has gone. Given time he will come good at PNE but whether he will get that time is debateable.
Perhaps "Agent Andy" planned to come back all along and is just trying to get revenege on Mr Westley.

Re: Andy Procter
Sheffield Wednesday beat Preston easily today. 2-0 flattered them. There was a cheer when Chris Holroyd came on for Preston after 84 minutes.

If I heard Jeff Stelling right, the expression he used was "big confrontation" - but it sounded like the players started it ........

Re: Andy Procter
On radio lancs tonight Wesley said he had been told by the Shefield bench that his team had been leaked by some of the Preston players before the game, giving advantage to Shefield, trouble int mill I fear.
