Andy Todd
Was just wondering yesterday at the game if he is elligible to play for us at Rotherham next week. Sometimes loaned players can't play against their parent club if its part of the loan terms. Does anybody know if he is allowed to play?

Re: Andy Todd
Think in the case of Aswad, we have him for another 2 weeks then it is up to the club to ask Charlton for an extension to the loan.

That's a bit harsh. Godwin was quality but Aswad is a good a player. He was to blame for Stockport's second goal but how many times has he saved us, not to mention his fantastic display at Chester.

Re: Andy Todd
aswad took a few games to get going, but now looks as good as any of the bad bunch at the back.
As for Todd - I must say, it would be no real loss if he doesnt play as I cant recall him having a good game since returning.

The difference between the Andy Todd we knew of old, and the player we're witnessing now, seems to lie in a lack of effort and comittment to the cause.
He used to play as if he was enjoying himself...now it looks like he's doing hard-labour for some crime or other!.does something sinister happen to those players who make a return to the club after hearing the voice of their former mentor calling them home ?. It would seem to be the case, i'm dying to see if Andy Mangan's performances confirm my suspicions !.
Will JC ...Svengali-like, be calling across the miles to Miles ?...I wouldn't be at all surprised !.....
' What me worry !'

Re: Andy Todd
think you may get your wish tomorrow!
I can see toddy being dropped tomorrow and maybe craney and mannix centre midfield!
Mannix holding with craney bombing on!
New centre back has to play with maybe Aswad moving to left back!!
Jay harris will defo play cos coley loves him!!

Thought that our Paolo required International clearance before he can turn out for 'the Reds' ?.....Which means some tinkering with your selections Jif!
Anymore ideas for JC to mull over before it's too late ?.

Re: Andy Todd
From t'Fishy site: ... one player definitely unavailable is Andy Todd, who will not feature against his parent club due to a gentleman's agreement between Rotherham and Stanley
From Accy Observer: ... chairman Eric Whalley says there is nothing in the contract between the two clubs to stop the winger playing
Interesting.
Just for the record, think Toddy is going to be a big asset for rest of season, seems to getting back to his old self.

Also on Fishy site is the extension to Aswads loan spell for another month. On a personal note, I am in agreement that loan players should not play against their parent club. Sorry Andy Todd but after Tuesday night I am a bit more optimistic than recent weeks
