Another,slightly over 24 (worrying) Hours......
I post this,in prelude to another worryingly sleep deficient night, as our chairman ( if he does indeed hold that rank of office) wants to assume command of all sleepless nights.....
He (and all his immediate circle, be they visible or invisible, partner or sleeping partner) hold the very future existence of the club within their grasp.....
I don't know what time the court hearing may be on Wednesday 04/11/2009.....I'm sure we all, we with the best interests of the club at heart, want that date to pass away into history unrecognised....i.e. as in a date where history did not repeat itself, lightening did not strike twice, and Accrington Stanley lived on to fight another day....and hopefully on towards a brighter future.......
I, like many, fear another horrific Wednesday, wondering IF the club will survive. I can't desribe (although many will probably empathise / sympathise ) the feelings I had to go through last week.........Totally sickening..
.For all who endured '62,( and i can only empathise) it is, as my youth dictates, a sickening feeling...to endure that feeling....possibly twice, I for one, cannot comprehend how sickening that could feel twicefold.
I hope, like many, the court hearing does not even come to pass and that this whole sorry mess can be sorted beforehand..however our extended deadline runs shorter........
For Salvation from the unthinkable to happen, in the next 24 hours, certain people have to come clean, admit mistakes, fall on their own swords if necessary, and allow people with a genuine interest of saving this club to pursue the necessary actions to ensure this club has a future....
A heartfelt plea to all parties involved in this mess....Do the right thing, all of you, within your present powers and remits, to allow (and hope ) that this club lives to see Thursday 05/11/09 and live on to play Salisbury this coming Saturday...and onwards and upwards to better things...
I sincerely hope and pray this can happen.

Re: Another, slightly over 24 (worrying) Hours......
Anyone else able to get down to the high court on wednesday for a protest/support?
Where about is the high court located? Wht time is our case being heard?
Found it
Court Hearings - Companies court Winding up list
We are on early.
I presume between 10:30 - 11:00
If anyone else can get to the court here is the address
Her Majesty's Courts Service - Court Information and Addresses
I can make a few sacrifices and change my plans to be there for 9.30/10am
If one or two others are willing to protest with me, im happy to supply any banners/placards.

i think its very late in the day to arrange these things but i am sure fans would be willing but remember if any protests take place do keep it within the law,i know passion is running high but we must not allow ourselves to lower are selves to awful standards of EW/D"ON

Re: Another, slightly over 24 (worrying) Hours......
IF I can get the day off work I'd consider driving down if 5 or 6 fancy sharing the petrol? and know their way around London? and want to set off at around 3am?

The easiest way to get to London early in the morning is to go from Manchester

it wont change anything weather 5 fans turn up or 500 to protest
if the bill has be settled the club is safe and the winding up order will be dismissed
if IK has not be able to access information so that he can settle the bill, paying the shortfall the club will be wound up
it is as simple as that

43.85 return Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston with 16-25 railcard. Good price but I just don't have 43.85
