Anthony Barry

Hope you take this in the way it's intended, which is just to let you know how Anthony Barry is getting on.

He made his Debut on Saturday against Port Vale. And he made the Football League's Team of the Week for League One.

Go to News, Teams of the Week, then click on League One.

Re: Anthony Barry

good, I hope he keeps it up cos Eric will have wapped a great big sell-on clause on to the deal (if wapped is a word).

Re: Anthony Barry

Good to hear he's had a good start, hope it all works out for him and let's face it - we didn't miss him on Saturday, Rocky had a blinder in his 'new' position.

Re: Anthony Barry

IMO we missed Ant on Saturday even though Rocky did play very well...

Antony's a top bloke and so is his family who I were lucky to meet by coming through my gate, really glad to see him doing so well and my best wishes go to him and his family for the future.....

Re: Anthony Barry

Thanks, Jack. I don't think it surprises any of us but it's a shame we couldn't have kept him. You must be pleased to have two players in that team!

BTW We're playing Burscough tomorrow. Remember them?

I think I'd rather swap 2 players in the Team of the Week for 3 points

But I am pleased really.

Don't mention Burscough!
