anthony barry coming home?

Accy Observer reports that Coley said

"I have made an enquiry about Glenn (Murray) but I am waiting fo rCarlisle to get back to me and Anthiny (Barry) is someone we would like to get back here but nothing is happening at the moment"

Good player though he is, I can't see him replacing Gazza

Re: anthony barry coming home?

Antony barry was more a holding midfield player than a winger, i still wouldn't mind him back though!

Re: anthony barry coming home?

I can't really see Barry coming back permanently, higher wages blah blah, also just coming back from injury so a loan deal may happen...

Re: anthony barry coming home?

As good a player as Barry is, I don't see where he would fit in.
There's Proctor, Craney, Harris, Byrom, N'Da and Boco all pushing for a start in the centre of midfield, in my opinion I think our strongest centre midfield partnership would be Craney and Byrom.

Re: anthony barry coming home?

23 year old forward Glenn Murray has joined League Two mid-table side Rochdale for a 2 month loan period this afternoon after talks with the Spotland based club.
Murray has already been out on loan this season, spending two months with Stockport County, where he scored 3 goals in his 11 appearances. The Maryport born striker has made just two appearances for the Cumbrians in this campaign, but has scored 6 times in his 56 appearances overall for the club.
Murray now goes straight in to the Dale squad for the away trip to Sincil Bank, Lincoln City, this Saturday where he is expected to play some part in the game.

Re: anthony barry coming home?

Anyone think Glynn Hurst is worth a look at? 5 goals in 6 for Bury, on loan from Shrewsbury and scored against us..
