Would think your best bet is to get a bus to Blackburn Boulevard, then get a Hyndburn Circular and ask the driver to put you off at the Crown. The ground's behind the pub car park.

I`d get the circular from Dawen to Accy town centre then you can fit in a trip to our dazzling array of £1 shops

Depending on where you are, I might be able to give you lift over for the Barnet game. Send me a PM if you're interested.

You want to try living there John. Then you'd be really confused.

Darwen is the correct spelling, but locals often refer to it as Darren (they are Darreners). Darwin is nearer to you, down under, and Dawin is.... ummm..... dunno.

Actually, the observant trainspotter will have noticed that I also sucumbed to the spelling error and put DARWIN instead of DARWEN.. wasn't Darwen a a downtrodden character in the 60s sitcom BEWITCHED???

Regarding 'DARWIN' KJ......I have a relative theory about this !...

(Hope the potential Fan from 'the Home of the partial-eclipse' finds his way to the FES. He'll be pleased with what he discovers there...and possibly find some football to watch at the same time!).
