Well please allow me to disagree. For me, watching Stanley is of paramount importance. And that is why I spend considerably more than £50 to watch Stanley's home games - and many away games.

we thought Trialist A played very well he had Num 10 on his back, made one error that nearly gave away a goal but overall was impressive.

Saturday’s Number 10 definitely has something about him, but his first thoughts were to take the easy route and pass back which he did on most occasions. If he could be encouraged to play forward, then he could be worth a contract.

Yes, indeed. Setting off at 07.30 and back at 23.00 with ten hours on trains. It doesn't get much better than that.

B !... As one who knows of , and fully appreciates just why you prove on a regular basis via the details above, that you must be one of Accrington Stanley's most loyal fans, I cannot for the life of me understand why your post should in any way provoke a negative response from anyone.
But, as I have noted elsewhere, that seems to be the first thought that enters the mind of some on the forum who seek not to make rational and acceptable comments but attempt to show attitudes which do little but show disrespect to other users.

Don't you just pine a little for earlier times of our Forum ?..when the business surrounding our club and its team were of paramount importance to those Lads and at least two Lasses providing news, opinions, and the occasional bit of nonsense to interest us all !.

Look forward to seeing you soon !.

ON STANLEY !.. ON TO GREATER THINGS !!.

Re: Anyone going to Morecambe?

Yonmon, i would have thought that, as one of our most erudite menbers, you would have realised that there was no negative connotation behind MY postings.

My opening gambit was in retort to suggestions that the day out or surroundings were unimportant. Bernard replied how he did and i replied further to demonstrate that as the result of the game doesnt spoil ones weekend then perhaps ingredients other than 'the team' were what made the day. All as a result of the game being moved from Morecambe to Leyland.

In ever so slight mitigation, perhaps i was a gnats wotsit more blunt than usual, as comments were also made on a facebook which suggested the fans were unimportant for friendlies

So, to Bernard, if you thought I was having a go then I apologise - I wasnt
