We hit the bar and had another good chance before Shaun scored a brilliant goal

We defended well and apart from Chris Long shot early in the second half, Crewe did not offer much else...

I have never seen a Crewe side give the ball away so much - lead to our goal.

A great - and well needed - result, same again away at Vale please

I shall set my alarm a little earlier for tomorrow morning

But what is the story behind O’Brien? We play just about anybody in his position but him.

O'Brien is our player and I had it in my head he would be on the move in January - just my thoughts.

We had started not to play him towards the end of last year - hence my thoughts
