attendance for mk game
i think the club should get into the christmas spirit and reduce prices for the mk dons i know they might lose money but if it attracts people who dont usually go they might catch the bug its all about increasing the fanbase and it will be a boost to the players seeing more fans. put a full advertisement in t he telegragh and accy obs and every pub in and around accy and put hte poster back up at accy vic junction like watch stanley for 8 £ this week only would give the people who cant afford and loads of advertising for stanley what do you think?

Re: attendance for mk game
2,050 please.
That forecast assumes normal ticket prices.
It would have been better but Christmas is approaching and it skews people's priorities.

Re: attendance for mk game
The problem is that if you reduce the admission by three quid then assuming 1300 is a regular hardcore figure you would need to find at least 390 people just to cover the cost of what you would lose by giving a three quid discount to the 1300 that would go anyway. Anything after that 390 would then be the 'bonus'. You need to put a lot more effort into it at the same time, recruitment drive in town, promotional work in the schools, competitions in the local media. If you do it as part of a larger initiative then it can work. It needs to be part of a larger push.
As and when we get the roof would be the ideal time to do a massive recruitment drive, lots of hard work now would be undone by newcomers getting soaked wet through. They may not listen next time we get the old tub thumping going. Lets give em somewhere to go to first then you and me cmonstanley will go out and start dragging em up there.

Re: attendance for mk game
Just a thought, why is it always the non paid supporters who seem to come up with ideas to bring in some more fans when all we hear from the paid staff of Stanley, Rob Heys and his crew is excuses and then silence. To me this has to start from the top with some ideas and encouragement to show that the fans effort is not just a waste of time.

Re: attendance for mk game
Whoa! Thought this was a thread on the number of supporters at the FES against the MK Dons. I will go for 1890 this week please. And for those of you who want to ask questions, join the OSC, there is always a member of the board/management in attendance every meeting - see macca on Saturday by the dartboard in the clubhouse then come on Monday next to have a rant.

No this is not the thread for guessing the number of supporters try the real one.
I am a member of the OSC and I was there when macca was elected and before and I've seen the question and answers, not much use are they, although I did miss the last one with Rob Heys.

Re: attendance for mk game
Believe me from what I saw Kipax's Q & A thread on here was far better than the one at the OSC meet.
