Those 3 points look even better!

Without doubt this was a game that we would have lost last season.
The difference was an outstanding performance from Jensen, who ensured we came away with all 3 points instead of zero.
Hopefully, having a competent keeper will ensure our goal difference this season will be much improved.

We have also gone back to a flat back 4 we have loaned the excellent Astley from Everton who looks a very good center half and Harvey back to his best position and possibly in the richest vein of form he,s had for a while, players play well when they have a commanding keeper behind them which in these early days Jenson is that keeper.

Re: Away at Shrewsbury thread.
Red card overturned after claim of mistaken identity, Apparently the ref mistook an angry goalkeeper clad in neon yellow for a striped outfielder! Could happen to anyone!?
Shrewsbury’s moaning “it cost us the game” unbecoming in my opinion. No way! Your goalkeeper cost you. His antics were quite unbelievable and he should of course have had a red himself. And In my part of the world Flanagan would have seen red for the judo throw on Sean.

Re: Away at Shrewsbury thread.
The Shrews have now had three reds overturned, and are writing to the FA and PGMOL about the standard of officials:
