Beattie

Spotted on the Oxford United Forum that JB is in the frame for the managers job and appears to be a popular opinion with some of the fans. Anybody heard anything?

Re: Beattie

Obviously a lot of Oxford fans have heard a lot of gossip, generated by football's friends in the gambling industry.

Re: Beattie

There's a mention of it in the Telegraph, can't see it happening - Beatts has started something at Stanley & I would bet that he wants to see it through

Re: Beattie

At this point i regard it as complete B/S, n will continue to do so until some fact emerges, all we have at the moment is who fans of oxford would like, which means sod all.

Re: Beattie

I found this blog that lists Beats as 7/4 fav to take the post as oxford manager,
but have not found any real evidence, so its all speculation at this stage

Re: Beattie

Dear Oxford chairman,
please take James Beattie to be your manager and make sure you pay Stanley lots of dosh in compensation.
While your shopping at the store first stadium, feel free to pick up one of our midfielders called Luke Joyce, he would be a great addition to your team.
And why not spend a few quid at lanc daves shop on some quality merchandise.

your shopping list should be
1. beattie
2. joyce.
3 the bar scarf
4. the new home shirt

enjoy your shopping experience at stanley.

Regards,
Dav007

p.s. are you friendly with the Southport chairman?
