Best Excuses for defeat thread

David Artell

“I wanted to bring Dagnall on but we couldn’t. The fourth official said that he couldn’t go on over the taping on his wedding ring. He has played every game with it on. If it is the rule, then why have 15 other officials let it go. He has worn it plenty of times, so have they missed it?".

Closely followed by Exeter's Paul Tisdale blaming today's 'winter conditions' - he's got a point, who'd have thought football would have to be played in winter??

I am glad you have put this up mate, as I saw Dagnall about to come on, then saw 19 come on.

I could see all the hand waving and stuff happening, but did not know why.

Pity he did not come on, as I was waiting for Jase to start shouting at him
