Best Stanley Xi Today ? ? ?
Having had chance to see various formations/players/tactics/positional changes . whats your idea of the best eleven and positions? ? ?
Dunbavin
Winnard Toto/Atkinson Moly
Murphy Miller/Joyce Boco
Beattie/Amond
Maybe a few eyebrows about Murphys positional selection but he has an eye for goal

Toto is a class player, he brings confidence to the defence which in turn leads to less goals conceded and therefore, lays the foundation to gain a positive result for the team.
Toto is also one of the best for man marking, can you remember when we played Northampton at home last season, Akinfenwa was marked out of the game, he did absolutely nothing in that game. Compare that to Northampton's visit this season when Akinfenwa tore us apart.
Toto is liable to make a mistake and his discipline is questionable, if he didn't have these issues, he would be in Everton's first team being courted by a host of other clubs. His good points far outweigh his errors and for me is a must have for any Stanley team sheet.

Well said, that man. Toto must be a nightmare for whoever he is marking!

Absolutely agree
If he can just learn to enjoy defending and not need to show can play he will be absolutely awesome and could go much higher than league 2

Re: Best Stanley Xi Today ? ? ?
Toto is a poorish mans Sol Campbell, sorrt out the silly yellows and he'll do alright - we need to look after him because he will onlt stronger and better as he gets older. I haven't seen much of Atkinson but he seems solid judging by reports. Murphy is a Red and has the club at heart, performances have good according to Leam. So thats a tricky 2 from 3 to start
so I'll go for:
Dunbavin
Winnard ... Toto or Merf (depends who we playing) ... Atkinson ... Liddle
Joyce ... Miller
Hatfield ... Boco ... Molly
Amond
