Exclamation Re: Billy Kee

Kee, who has recently been released by Leicester after spending a season on loan at the Reds, actually met Torquay boss Paul Buckle for talks this week.

Dean Sheehan, the Northern Ireland Under-21 international’s agent, said: "There are a number of clubs interested in him.

"It isn’t about money – he is looking for the right club and the right manager to help him develop, because we feel he has the potential to be a Dean Windass."

Typical agent comments, how on earth could Torquay be the "Right club??" By no means am I saying that we are, but they ain't!!

Re: Billy Kee

Maybe he preferred to live in Torquay as opposed to Accrington!

Re: Billy Kee

Sorry about bumping this, but I have received this from the friend of a Gulls fan I know.

I went to Tiverton on Monday night and there saw the finest display by a Torquay United centre-forward since you-know-who (Robin Stubbs). I don't know how United managed to get hold of Kee, but he's an absolute gem. I can guarantee that he'll win Player of the year at the end of the season AND be the highest goalscorer. His finishing was just out of this world; ok. it was a very poor Tiverton side, but everything he did seem to turn to gold.

Ah, well ......

Do not forget RR, he blew Radcliffe away 1st game last season - hat trick in 5-0 win.... We never really saw the best of Billy in my opinion, due to in the main BG/MS but wish Billy all the best, wherever he is playing!!!!

Re: Billy Kee

No doubt he will score goals this season.

He was just unlucky he was up against Grant & Symes here.

Shame as he would have been number 1 striker here this season I feel.

Onwards & Upwards
