Great win for the 23s. The lad Nolan always seems to do really well for the 23s but never gets a look in for the first team other than sub!

The whole U23 squad played well today.
Two well-matched teams, but Stanley bossed the first half and went in 0-1 up. Blackpool came out and applied more pressure and deservedly got the equaliser. But then Stanley got a penalty, very well converted by Nolan, then got the upper-hand again and bagged two more, with Dan Martin hitting a sweet shot from the edge of the box.
Really enjoyable watch, great team work and effort. I suspect the experience of playing first team football for many of the Stanley team made the difference.
Too many good displays to pick a single MotM.
Well done to the lads and the coaching staff.
Stanley U23s top of the Central League and remain unbeaten!
