I ordered mine online a week ago, Nobody said anything about it been segregated. I don’t mind either way but my ticket better arrive soon and it better let in to the Clayton end.

Re: blackburn game
As far as I know all the tickets for this game are the same, they don't specify which area of the ground they are for. Therefore, I don't think it will be segregated as in Rovers fans in one area and Stanley fans in another, it will just mean that whichever area of the ground you choose to go into that's where you will stay for the whole of the game.

Re: blackburn game
Don't worry about the atmosphere - just leave it to the Accy fans to create that, you Rovers fans can just watch and learn

Re: blackburn game
The official site states that the ground will be segregated into three areas - Area 1 - The Clayton End and half the Whinney Hill Terrace
Area 2 - The Coppice End and half the Whinney Hill Terrace
Area 3 - The Seated Enclosure
Your ticket allows you to enter through the turnstiles any of these three areas but you will not be allowed to move to another area. Let's hope that everybody who has bought a ticket doesn't decide to go into the seated enclosure.

We now have a new turnstile monitoring system in place if the seating is full we'll just close the turnstile simple as.
As a Steward I would recommend that standing Blackburn fans go into the coppice terrace area and standing stanley fans go into the clayton terrace, the same facilities are available in both ( Bogs, Burger vans etc.) obviously for the friendlies the entire ground is mixed but this way will give you a bit more of an atmosphere for the banter etc.
Please be aware there will be no movement between enclosures allowed, so those who want a beer will have to sit down, or stand behind the goals and content with a cuppa!!! Last year we rightly recieved a lot of complaints from people who were sat down as they were paying their money like anyone else but only getting to see half of the match because of the constant traffic to and from the bar. This current arrangement solves this problem to a certain extent and more importantly complies to football league rules!!!

Re: blackburn game
The step up to league status now means that the ground is licenced only for segregation & no free movement will be allowed. This is a ruling under health & safety by Lancashire County Council who can close the ground down if this is not adhered to. There were early teething issues at the Burnley game but these have been addressed & Wednesday will be the start of how things will be done in future. As with league games when they commence, away fans will be ushered to one end- likely away fans the town end & part of the Whinney Hill stand with home fans at the Clayton end & main stand. Please do not berate us stewards for this as we are acting in accordance with the rules. Just get there as soon as possible & ensure you get into the part of the ground that meets your needs. There is only the one bar in the club house & it is a criminal offence to take alcohol onto the ground or be in an inebriated state on it. I hope that common sense dictates a good spirit as in prior encounters and we all can enjoy a good game regardless of the outcome, Friendly is the main associated word! Enjoy.

Re: blackburn game
This sounds fine, Al. It's good to hear that the club is taking a professional, no-nonsense approach to league status. However, can I just ask one question - how long will us Clayton Enders have to endure "dry" half-times for, before the bar is finally installed?

Re: blackburn game
I don't think thats a question for us stewards and fans I think thats a question for the club
Space has been left behind each stand for the inclusion of a 'bar' portacabin, however I suspect its somewhat down to the logistics of having people to man it.
