Rommy jumped up to attempt a header and Tom Aldred came barging into him from 4 or 5 yards away across the face of goal. Hundreds of the Stanley Faithful on the Clayton End agreed with me, as we rose in unison with the penalty claim! For once I can applaud the referee! He got it 'Spot On', (if you pardon the pun?) |

I wasn't disputing it Choirboy, just amazed that the ref spotted it - it was a member of the press behind us who said about no-one else in the ground seeing it - how many times has it been the other way round & everybody except the ref has thought we should have had a penalty
