Re: Blast From The Past
Still my favourite stanley player of all time! Ash is one of the reasons I'm still watching stanley after 23 years, watching Ash and Grimmy every week got me addicted and I'm still here. Therefore if anyone wants rid of me, take it up with Ash!!!

Re: Blast From The Past
Ash and Grimmy, Beck and Rodge, Quick and Colonel, Rob and Chris Molloy, and the ubiquitous Jonny McNally, give me the class of 95 any day!

Re: Blast From The Past
I wonder if Ash thought it was "Against All Odds" that we would spend "Another Day In Paradise" in the football league. Surely he'd hope that the "Two Hearts" running the club now would disappear.
Never mind, it's only "One More Night" until the Crewe game. Hopefully its not cold so I won't have to "Wear My Hat."

Re: Blast From The Past
Always struck me watching the reserve games at Stanley he had a real depth of enthusiasm & knowledge of the game and heard glowing reports on his stewardship at the Turf.

Re: Blast From The Past
Just like to add I bought 6oz of Stilton off the great man last Saturday and it was cracking Had to physically restrain myself from an impromptu rendition of his song though ......."with a pint of beer and a bit o' fit craic, we are the lads that come from Acc"
