Boston meet-up

Any Boston-bound Reds intent on a pre-match pint or two who would like to meet up? With an unapologetic bias towards pubs and proper beer, may I suggest the following crawl:
<O</O
12.30: Duke of York, Lincoln Lane (PE21 8RU). Limited range of Batemans on here, therefore this is down as a quick warm-up pint.
<O</O
1.00: The Eagle, 144 West Street (PE21 8RE). This is the essential boozer of the day, owned by Tynemill who are responsible for the Castle Rock brewery that kept me well-oiled before and after the Notts County game. Excellent range of real ales (plus lovingly-brewed Czech, German and Belgian lagers for all those who prefer the fizzy stuff.) Food served from midday. Good enough to stay until kick-off approaches.

Post-match: The Ship Tavern, Custom House Lane (PE21 6HH). A basic Bateman’s boozer and the nearest pub to the ground, with the away end a hop, skip and jump across the adjacent dual carriageway. Not a huge range on offer, but worthwhile for the Dark Lord and Mild, provided they’re on. A good stop-off for the final pint before the game, but I might save this till after the match, when we will have another three points to toast.
<O</O
Anyone who can provide me with a detailed and vivid blow-by-blow account of the Wrexham triumph will be bought a pint on the spot.

Come on you Reds!
