It sounds like a fantastic performance from Stanley on Tuesday night, and I was sorry not to have been able to join you guys and gals on the site whilst the match was on (I've started evening classes on Tuesday evenings), but I was amazed to come home and find that Stanley had won 3-0 !
Why oh why could they not have done that at Bury on Saturday ? Still, I guess that unpredictability is one of the joys of football, though it's playing havoc with my score predictions in Jimbo's Prediction League !
I'm delighted to see Stanley back to form and let's hope they can put the Dragons to the sword on Friday and maintain this kind of form. Who knows - the play offs might even beckon if they can get on a roll ?
Hopefully, they'll put on a similar kind of performance and take Dagenham apart in mid October, when I'll be able to see them for the first time this season (can only make matches in the south and missed the Wycombe game because of a holiday).
