Brilliant News / Wonderful Achievement
To someone of my vintage (mid fifties) there are a few clubs I remember as League clubs that are no longer in the League. (Indeed, although I am now a Pompey nut, I saw my first League game - as a very young lad - at Haig Avenue, Southport.)
For any one of those to get back is good news, but for Accrington, with its long and proud history, well it's something special for all fans, regardless of the club they support. All the very best for the coming seasons. |
