Stanley the better side today and missed quite a few good chances. Joe Pritchard and Tommy Leigh provided the main threat and between them could have made the game safe by the time Joe scored on 54 minutes if they had been more clinical. More creative overall. The BBC stats make the game look quite even but in reality it was not.
Rovers did look weak upfront and in defence but managed to survive some woeful mistakes at the back and by the keeper. They still created chances and I'm not sure why John Marquis wasn't brought on earlier. Maybe he is not quite fit or carrying a knock.
Stanley saw the game out, even though they came under more pressure at the end. Good result for Stanley away from home today with their makeshift formation.
