They've done well to bounce back so quickly - would've preferred Grimsby, just from a geographical point of view but wasn't to be

Re: Bristol Rovers Promoted

Agree that would have liked it to be Grimsby (4th time unlucky in play offs?) but not so sure about impact on gates. If Brizzle are cooking (on gas ) when they come back, they are just as likely to bring a decent crowd, so long as it's not a Tuesday or Friday night.
Our esteemed Revived Red makes it from Bristol most weeks, so he could show 'em the way.

Re: Bristol Rovers Promoted

I don't think it'll make much difference, maybe a hundred less from Bristol will make the trip to Accy. Well done to them for coming straight back up. I suppose they had to win promotion after Bristol City also won promotion. As for Grimsby they will feel gutted(like fish)!

Re: Bristol Rovers Promoted

Grimsby got robbed by the referee who bottled it and should have sent off the Bristol rovers goalkeeper.

Re: Bristol Rovers Promoted

An old work colleague supports Bristol Rovers, so I am pleased for his sake. He's called Mike, works in Lancashire and has a passing resemblance to Greg Davies with a similar accent......what could all this mean? Pure coincidence?
