Burnley Match All Ticket

According to fishy site Burnley game is now all ticket

I heard rumour of this last night.

I fail to see the reasoning behind it. Burnley or Stanley fans could quite easily buy tickets for either end. We all live in the same towns and many support both teams. Every year there are approx 4 times more Burnley fans on than Reds so when the Burnley end is sold out they'll be buying for the Clayton End.

The only reason for this that I would see as valid would be if we expected a sell out. Which I dont think we do.

I can see this affecting the crowd by about 50%

They have just announced all ticket and tickets are now on sale. Surely they could have announced this last week stating that tickets would go on sale Wednesday 22nd July just to prepare everybody.

At least your other neighbours will give you twice as much value, 2 teams, one for the first half, one for the second half

Don't sound so dispirited. A Rovers XI isn't always second rate. We had the international success that was Egil Ostenstadt on the Crown Ground a few years back!

No mention of ticket sales yet at Burnley. Really can't fathom out the reason for this unless the licensing authorities or police have instigated it

the latter i would say also with this been a well attended match it will stop disappointment to those fans who make the short trip and miss the match cause they cant get in
