Angry Burnley vs Man united reserves

I have heard fro a few people now that burnley will be playing there reserve games at the IES instead of at the turf, why play it at stanley when our pitch is already starting to show signs of wear and tear. The deal may also lead on to the rest of the season

Smitthy are u concerned about the pitch if it gets over played

Has the club got an answer on this??? Rob???

Re: Burnley vs Man united reserves

Burnley chief executive Dave Edmondson has been blaming things for the state of the pitch at Turf, he said the reserves are one of the reasons the pitch has been in a bad state and games are having to be called off,
BUT the last reserve game at the turf was on December 8th, which is no-where near where the games which was called off where (Leicester Jan 1st, and Liverpool last week).

Dave Edmondson said he wants to move the reserve team home games to somewhere else and it looks as if the IES is that place.

I have also heard this BTW

Thumbs down Re: Burnley vs Man united reserves

Eric, charge them £1 million, as I recall Burnley once suggested to Colne Dynamoes!

Re: Burnley vs Man united reserves

Why is everyone moaning about this, it will be a good money spinner for Stanley board and lets face it, we ask our reserves to play at Great Harwood. May just be able to increase the playing staff and bring in a decent player or two with the proceeds.
