Even if I could claim from the club I wouldn't. That's the risk you take at this level travelling at this time of year. Normally I wouldn't travel but the forecasts looked good for Burton as did the word for the club. Bury was 13 degrees and no mention of heavy rain when I booked the train tickets so I thought it was OK.
I would rather not take money out of the club especially when they have none. And it would be good if it was rearranged for the midweek after wimbledon as I'm off that week so may risk it again

At least the game would be on. After the last two attempts at watching football in Accy I have decided we need summer football .
Anything is better than two dafties trying to hit a ball over a net for hours. Our front line have been doing that all season for far less money.

Re: Bury Match Thread
Afternoon ladies and gents!
Can't attend tonight - is there anyway of hearing commentary online other than player?
I'm sure I recall listening to a very good Accy comm. from Gigg Lane a few years ago?
Good luck for the rest of the season Accrington (after tonight obviously!)

Re: Bury Match Thread
Others will correct me if I'm wrong (and some even if I'm not), but I can no longer find any live match feed on the Stanley web site.
But surely this clash of Lancashire titans will be on Radio By'Eck, or whatever it's called?

Cheers ta for that Exile!
Presume you mean Radio Lancs?
Not sure I can get that - it won't be on Radio Manchester as the lovely Notlob Wanderers are sure to be the comm. game! grrrrr!
