Bury Thread
Derby time, hopefully get some revenge for the loss earlier in the season.Big game (isn't every game?). Take a risk and put moly straight into the starting lineup?
Also whats the weather like? Any risk of this being called off?

Re: Bury Thread
Doubt it will be called off TomD, No home game so far this season, even when Blackburns was off. Personally i'd have Moly on bench tomorrow, after last sats performance reckon everyones earned a start?

Re: Bury Thread
Agree (again?....must be my age), Cashers.
No-one deserves to be dropped after last week but it's great to have so many options available. Just hope, if required, any subs get enough playing time to make an impact. I'm hoping Mr Molyneux recreates his impact against The Gas on Tuesday.

Re: Bury Thread
Think Roddan n Moly would be a real asset, coming off the bench today wi suitable time to impact,

Re: Bury Thread
Will be interesting today, bury have signed a lot of new players and play three at the back.
If we pin their wing backs deep then I fancy us,but we will be out numbered in central areas.
They will probably play off their new signing Platt,so picking up the runners will be key, game may go as Newport in terms of chances

Re: Bury Thread
Interestingly, the ref at Burton has delayed kickoff until 4pm to allow time for the pitch to dry. No rain since 2pm here, wonder if the same could have been applied, looking at the photos on twitter only a minimal amount of standing water!

Re: Bury Thread
I'm sure there's the exception that proves the rule (Burton's ref for one) but, almost by definition, someone who wants to be a ref loves reading rule books and lives by those rules. I don't know if there is a rule that clearly defines what comprises a waterlogged pitch, as opposed to one that is draining after a sudden downpour, but I wonder if fans' lives would be made less frustrating by pedantic refs if the final decision to call off a game was made by the ref and both captains, with the majority winning the day where there is a difference of opinion. Maybe the FA will give Stanley a grant to put a roof on The Crown.
